  Jasmine Stine, M.Ac., L.Ac., Dip.O.M.  

Founder + Clinician

Jasmine (she/her) is a second generation Licensed Acupuncturist and Board Certified Clinical Herbalist. She practices, studies, & teaches models of medicine that focus on healing our relationship to ourselves, to our culture, and to the natural world. She's helped hundreds of lost, stressed out, and unwell humans find their way home to a healthier body and healthier sense of self.

Special areas of practice include:

• Existential crisis and trauma-informed care.

• Mystery conditions bio-medicine can't help or identify.

• Chronic diseases such as neuropathy, IBS, menstrual imbalance, and allergies.

She is currently working towards her Advanced Certificate in Acupuncture Facial Rejuvenation with Michelle Gellis and her two year Diplomate in Canonical Chinese herbalism at the Institute for Classics In East Asian Medicine under Dr. Arnaud Versluys.

Before pursuing Chinese Medicine, Jasmine travelled the world working on various projects in the fields of social justice, design, local food, and entrepreneurship.

Lauren (she/her) is a Licensed Acupuncturist and certified Reiki Practitioner. She received her Master of Science from Pacific College of Health Sciences here in NYC. Through a gentle and assertive approach, she offers compassionate and grounded health care to help patients achieve a high quality of well-being.


Special areas of practice include:


• women’s health and fertility.

• dermatology concerns. 

• chronic and acute pain (including trigger point therapy), • stress management.


Lauren incorporates multiple modalities into her treatments including cupping, gua sha, moxibustion, and essential oils. She recently completed an internship at Columbia University’s Integrative Medical Centre, and is currently pursuing her Doctorate degree.

 Kate Flynn 

Patient Coordinator

Kate (she/her) manages scheduling and patient communication at Upright Qi. An experienced healthcare receptionist, Kate previously worked at Brooklyn's busiest community acupuncture clinic. She is currently pursuing her master's degree in social work with a focus on therapy for adolescents.

Prior to entering healthcare, Kate worked in documentary film, producing and editing films about transgender medicine and a senior women's bowling league in Sunset Park. When the weather is nice, she likes to bike out to Fort Tilden or read in Prospect Park.
